Global Consulting Group Inc is seeking a Sr. Java developer/Architect for a Perimium client . Will lead the application development team and the Architecture team during the design, programming and testing phases of the project. Will provide work direction to the development team to manage defect resolution software delivery. Will be migrating a file transfer middleware product from C to Java. Implementing enhancements and maintaining code. Will work closely with the application development teams to performance test and tune the applications. Qualified candidates need to have a minimum 5 years of design and development of Java web-based application using servlets, JSP, OOAD experience. Experience leading a small team developers both on-site and offshore. Over 3 years of application experience and design in a Web environment. Need extensive experience with Java, Java Servlets, JSP (building custom tags), Struts, ANT for application builds, and Apache Tomcat with struts and tiles. Candidates must also have over 3 years of C development experience. Full life cycle development experience (requirements, analysis, implementation, testing, deployment). Required database knowledge of Oracle. Experience with Vitria Businessware, Cyclone, SAP R/3 and Weblogic is a plus. This is 14 month contract assignment with the possibility to be extended.
