GCG has an immediate opening for an Oracle Applications Development (11i) Candidate will be responsible for supporting Oracle Financials 11i applications, financials projects, enhancements, and day to day production support for existing Oracle Financials suite. Candidate will report to Accounting Development Lead. Responsibilities: Coding, unit testing, and deployment of production fixes and enhancements to Oracle Financials and related interfaces Data analysis and extraction as required Supports month-end close process, troubleshooting issues as required Defines technical requirements and solutions (and supports definition with other teams) Defines estimates for technical design and coding related to Oracle Financials applications. Skill Set: Functional and technical knowledge of the Oracle Financials suite of applications including: Functional knowledge of all Oracle Financials modules including: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and Purchasing Knowledge of other Oracle modules would be nice to have (including manufacturing modules) Technical knowledge including: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, workflow, system administration, source control management, ~Software configuration management, migration tools Knowledge of SAP financials would be a plus 5-7 years of overall experience with at least 3-4 supporting / implementing Oracle Financials
